To define the exact places of the monuments of old ruins
of Ganja. We have divided the territory into 4 sectors.
1 sector occupies the area, beginning from 3 vaulted
bridge to the north-south up to 5 vaulted bridge and
from the right bank of the Ganja River in the
direction of the west-east. The 2 sector occupies the
area starts from 5 vaulted bridge to the north-south
up to 7 vaulted bridge and from the right bank of the
Ganja River in the direction of the west-east. 3 sector
occupies the area beginning from 7 vaulted bridge to
the south-west up to 5 vaulted bridge and from the left
bank of the Ganja River in the direction of the east.
4 sector occupies the area beginning from 5 vaulted
bridge to the north-south up to 3 vaulted bridge and
from the left bank of the Ganja River in the direction
of the east-west. We represent you the monuments of
old ruins of Ganja. It covers the period during the
earthquake, dates back to (1139 - 1604) when repeatedly
the city was destroyed during the board of Shah Abbas
I. Unfortunately, except for a door of Ganja on which
there are evidence offhand-worked masters Ibragim the
osmanli Turk ogli(1063) which are kept in Gelatin monastery
of Georgia and a silver coin (Ganja 712-713) is also
of hand-worked which in the Hermitage of
Saint Petersburg. These works of Ganja masters testify
about historical period from V century to 1139. Thus
we shall get acquainted with existing since 1606 after
the earthquake 1139 with the old city of Ganja. In spite
of that, that the city is on both banks of Ganja River;
the main central part of the city is the right part
of the bank. In 1606 the city was inhabited on the left
bank of the river in some distance. On this page you
will have to get acquainted with the period which cover,
450 years of the history of Ganja the heritage of which
makes 1500 centuries.
 Taking
place in 1 sector in the direction from the river to
the east -west 100m and on lateral aspect of the walls
of the city castle on the distance to the north there
is a mausoleum “Imamzade”. The mausoleum was constructed
from the side by mail Israfil bek Yadigarov at the end
of XIX centuries. Expert for the basic dome covered
blue tiles exist seven more such tiles Cupalov. Inside
of the marble there is a plate fixed in the Arabian
language dating back to the death of Ibrahim the son
of the 5th Imam Muhammed Bagir, who was burred
in VIII century. And consequently the reason of “Imamzade”
is considered a relic.
 
Taking place in 1 sector from the right bank of the
river in the direction of the east there is 2 towers
of the left vaulted wall named “Doors Berde” XII century.
 
On the river Ganja on the northern part of city, in
association of both sides of the river under 3 vaulted
